    We use our foreign market knowledge and relationships to identify needs, and propose solutions. We help US firms expand to many regions of the world.

    We are not the typical consulting firm. The "boutique" denomination refers to our solutions being specifically tailored to each client’s needs and issues. We do not adhere in the “one size fit all” approach used by bigger consulting firms, nor do we ever intend on using it.

    Business Incubator & Startup Mentoring program

    You have a great idea! That's great, but do you have the time and knowledge to take it to the market? If you answer no, then contact us to find out how we can help.

    A 2010 study by the National Business Incubation Association (NBIA) found that the survival rate of startups using business incubators is 87% compared to 44% for startups that didn’t use incubators.

    Business Plan

    We listen to your idea and if it is deemed feasible and profitable, a business plan is created. The business plan is the road map to turn the present idea into a future profitable business. The business plan can be a 10 to 70 even a 100 pages document depending on the complexity of the idea. Some research, focus groups and survey may be involved. Depending on the idea, the cost may fall on the client, SmartWORKS or a mix of both.

    Financing

    Once the business plan is established, it is time to start looking for financing. Using the business plan we can gather funds from banks, financial services, venture capitalist and angel investors. The client may elect to finance the project totally or fully with his own funds and/or his family and friends.

    Implementation

    Once the business is ready and turned back to the client, the client runs it from then on. SmartWORKS might offer consulting services in later stages to make sure the business is conducted the right way and that business is profitable according to the forecast.

  • Meet Our Team

    Mohamed Nasser, M.B.A., Ph.D

    Dr. M.Nasser is the founder and president of SmartWORKS Consulting Services. He holds an M.B.A with an international perspective, a Masters and Ph.D in Economics from Florida International University where he has taught economic classes for four years. Dr. M. Nasser serves on the board of PediaVera Pharmaceuticals, a global leader in pediatric care supplements, since 2008. His research and publications have focused on entrepreneurship and more specifically on small firms and start-ups survival. His area of expertise extends to market penetration in emerging markets.

    Dmitriy Krichevskiy, Ph.D

    Dr. D. Krichevskiy is currently a Professor Associate at Elizabethtown College and has previously taught at Florida international University. He holds a Ph.D in Economics focusing on entrepreneurship from F.I.U. and a B.A in Economics with a minor in Mathematics. He has extensive research experience in the field of entrepreneurship and has received many awards for his research.

    Veysel Avsar, Ph.D

    Dr. Veysel Avsar is currently an Assistant Professor of Economics at Antalya International University, Antalya, Turkey. Dr. Avsar specializes in International Trade and his research have been noticed in the world of economics. Dr Avsar has successfully published many articles economic Journals. In this global economy, it is important to have an expert in International trade in our team.
